   does anyone know how much it will cost me to get a re-conditioned enging? Or get mine done.

   Price will vary from place to place on the definition of "reconditioned".
   
   I would always research the company you are using as well on the net as well. make sure they put doen on paper what will be done and pay part with a credit card so you are covered under CCA 1975 for miss representation.

   As said, price will vary from place to place on their labour and mark up costs and also to the extent of work they will carry out.
   
   Well over 1k though, if you include sensors and every nook n cranny possibly over 2k.
   
   You could do your own basic one for about £400.
