petrol gauge

   changed my gearbox yesterday and put it all back together today but my petty gauge isnt working any ideas?????

   Doubt it is a related condition but it might be worth checking earth connection on the box?
   
   I have read on here disconnecting batt over night can make guages work again also.

   Definately try disconnecting the battery for a while. A few of my gauges stopped working so i left the battery off for an hour and when i put it back on, they all worked again.
