kwik fit

   Just been reading the kwik fit web site and was wondering if it makes sence. As far as i can understand if i get my brakes done with them whwn the brakes go on my car again they will replace them for free. Is there a catch

   my dad knew someone who had his brakes installed backwards by quik fit, dont even know how they managed it

   lol mabye your getting it mixed up with they do a free test..?
   
   or its probley if you buy the parts through them they fit for free

    My Dad owns a citroen and peugeot specialist garage... people who have gone to kwik fit, come out with a bill of atleast half at my Dads place.

    i think what they mean is if you get new pads when they are fucked and need replacing go back to them they will fit them for free but you got to buy them from there

    there is an urban myth going on about this kwik fit 'brakes for life offer'.
    Apparently there's a boy with a cossie who took advantage of this offer, ripps it up at knockhill at weekends then gets new brakes every fortnight. Prob bullshit but it made me laugh.
    
    As said before total false economy, kwik fit charge the earth and use the cheapest nastyest brake components going.

    I rang up kwik fit the other week asking about the free brake check. The first thing the guy said was that if we cant get the brakes back on due to weathering of parts you'l basically have to buy parts from us. Seriously.. nothings free in this world.

    yes, get disc/ pads done with us, and when they are Min spec and need changing, they will be replaced free of charge for the life that you own the car.
    its not really that hard to understand is it ?
    
    but yes they are shit...complain as much as you like, but i have the perks of uber cheap tyres,brakes, a garage as much as i need it for, free servicing, mots and very good pay for the little work we do.

    one thing ive always said so the shitty customers in my old place and other cunts i know when they complain . . . dont piss off your mechanic as he is the one that plays with the brakes

    kwik fit are terrible! i needed a balljoint fitting for my mot 2 weeks ago, i bought the balljoint 7.59 from motosave, phoned up kwikfit for a price for them to remove the offside wishbone, press the old balljoint out and press the new one in, they quoted me 208.50! in the end took the wishbone off myself dad took it to work pressed out n pressed new one in so didnt pay anything for labour result and i learnt a lesson FUCK KWIK FIT!

    they should be wearing spurs at kwik fit they are such a bunch of cowboys...i went in there on sunday to source an exhaust clamp and there was a lady in there having a proper go at the manager. turns out the dumbfucks forgot to connect the brake lines back up
