failed emissions test

   hey guys, i failed my mot on a few things which have now been sorted except for the exhaust emissions.
   
   I had the garage weld a crack in the exhaust, but dispite this, it once again failed.
   
   I tried replacing the centre piece, but this cannot be done as its just one piece. im not an expert on exhausts either. readings show that its well over the limit so i doubt a long drive and redex should do the trick.
   
   anyone know what it could be?

   LAMBDA sensor.

   ok, mate so what would need doing? replacing the sensor?

   LAMBDAs can be expensive for new OE replacments.
   
   You could either get a diognostics to make sure its that which is £40.
   Buy a new LAMBDA £80-£120 from citroen for a genuine part.
   Buy a second hand one for £10 from a breakers yard and hope for the best.

   yeahh buy a brand new lamda sensor and replace it with the old one, maybe give the car a good servicee.
