#2Very Easy.
About 12 nuts n bolts alltogether.
The header bolts can be awkward, so take the dipstick off. Other tricky bit can be the lambda if its on very tight. -
#3so its a job i can do myself?
-
#4YEH! very easy! If you can take a car wheel off the you can take a manifold off.
Just gets fiddly on the bottom row of bolts on the manifold. -
#5do i need a pit or is their enough room without one?
-
#6Nooo its fine!
Right....you undo the top set of nuts on the studs in the head keeping the manifold one about 10 of them and theyre 13mm, can be awkward to get to some of them so remove the dipstick.
On top of the gearbox or around that area u will see a wire with a plug in with a red clip on, pull and slide the red clip out, you might need a screw driver to lever it out:

Now, go under the car, undo the two bolts keeping the manifold downpipe to the Cat pipe, also usually 13mm or 10mm.
Now back into the engine bay and try and get the manifold out, it can be awkward so just manoouver it about untill you can get it out. Its easier to jack the front of the car right up and drop the manifold out the bottom.
Undo the LAMBDA sensor from the manifold, i guess a 17 or 19mm. then refit to your new manifold and refit.1 user thanked this post: -
