   mk1 and mk2 window screen the same?
   
   i'v broke the window screen in my mk2 so i was goin to get someone to come and put in the windowscreen out of my old mk1 just sittin in the drive
   
   
   or will it be cheaper to just have a new one fitted?
   
   thoughts comments?

   Same shape and size, difference is the black dots at the top of the screen between the sunvisors is missing on mk2's IIRC.

   how is your freind intending in getting the other one out of the car? as their glued in, want to be very carefull you dont shatter it!
   
   i just had a new fitted in my mk 2 i paid £90 fitted but i got quoted £80 from another company... (solo windscreens)

   +1, leave it to the professionals. Nothing stopping you taking this spare screen down to somewhere that fits screens, if there's nothing wrong with it
