slight missfire?

    morning all, my saxo 1.1 mk1 has developed what i think is a very slight missfire, i think this because sometime (its getting slowly worse) but when i pull up to junction, or stop the engine runs a bit rough, i noticed this because my gear stick was vibrating, not very much just a tad, the other reason i think this is because when i started my car from cold today i pulled away and it seemed abit sluggish, i then had to stop, so when i did i reved it and it was only fireing on 3 cylinders, then it sorted it out and it was fine, the only thing i have changed but i cant remember if it done this before was the plugs, but i put the plugs from my old engine in it that have done about 1.5k max, if anyone can help much appreciated, thanks

    when was it last serviced?

    would of been better buying new plugs, for the cost of what they are.

    sounds like a faulty coilpack

    ahhh dont say that, haha, i complety forgot to tell my dad not to weigh my old engine in with coil and other stuff on it i know that the plug closest to gearbox isnt massivly tight as it seems to just keep spinning, could that be why and its got fresh oil antifreeze basically a full service apart from fuel filter thanks

    sounds like the thread in the head is abit funked.

    could be the cause of them problem.

    if the plug hole is stripped get it tapped out and get a heli coil fitted.
