cylinder blocks..

   on the vtr are there two types of block?.
   for example, my engine seems to be one of an aluminium casting with wet liners.. but im pretty sure ive seen a cast iron block with dry liners.. am i right or not?..
   whats the score is there a cast iron block for the vtr or not?.
   obviously if there was a cast iron block, it would be heavier therfore making it slower?.

   sure its just the 1.4 has the different blocks and all vtrs are teh same

   i dont want to rub this in your face but look!.
   iron block engines (TU series)
   shit, so if mine is an alloy block then its a 1.4?.
   hmmm.. i have to investigate!..
