My saxo is making sharp jolting moments when accelerating anyone else experience this. And know what it is just been to garage and they say try an adhesive to pour into your petrol tank. After that they will have to take it in and have a look.

Hi thanks for the responce to my question. I have a good friend who ownes his own garage. he advised that is more than likly a electric issue so start with your plugs and leads as well as treating the fuel. If this dous not work it may be the coil pack although this is a little more expensive. Ask your garage to plug your car in to there diagnostics machine the plug in poin is just below the fuse board on the passanger side of the car. this should pick up any issues for you. LOL, i hope you read my post before pouring an ADHESIVE into your fuel tank. Adhesive is glue, you're thinking of an additive!

But i don't know why they even suggested that to you as i don't think sticking a fuel additive in your fuel tank is gonna resolve it.

Could be anything but as said check plugs & coilpack

Hi. When i first took my daughters saxo to the garage they drove it and said the same. I then took it home and on the way it did the same again. I then took it to my mates garage and he advised to change spark plugs and ht leads before doing any thing else. i took plugs out and they were knackerd so put some nice new top speck ones in and some new decent leads. cost me £35 for parts. This did stop it happening so often but it is still a little jumpy from time to time. My next step is the coil pack. Follow the advise you are being given hear as i am just going to try one thing at a time as my mate plugged it to his diagnostics computer and it said there was no fault. Explains why it is only now and again. regards Innovation357977. If the coil pack solves it i will add the post so you know.
