converstion VTR blacktop to VTS

right a guy has told me today that he can do my converstion to a VTS for me. So i thought brilliant great stuff.

He then began to tell me that he would not need to change anything on my car othere then the engine itself no box no loom no ecu etc.

He said he will remap my ecu that i have already to run the VTS engine.

What i want to know is this possible and will it run perfectly with no problems etc.

As long as its done properly

also my VTR is a phase 1 blacktop and the vts is a phase 2. So will this work if the engine is dropped straight in no ecu change or whatever

Any 1 lol been told i might need to t-peice 1 my fuel line or is the for the silver top vtr also is the loom the same for vtr blacktop and the VTS and can mu ecu be remapped to run the vts as this guy is telling me it can

ur on the saxo sports club forum aswell aint ya lol look mate the best thing to do is get the vts lump wiv wiring loom and ecu no massing about drop it sr8 in. i had the same prob i got a vtr i brought a vts lump off of ebay not long ago thats ur best bet

lol well there is that. there is a few vts engines on ebay now thay shud go cheap i payed £500 for mine and i had to take the bugger out

mate i personally think it cannot be done,you need everything from the donor car,what mk is your car because if you are getting the engine out of a mk2 and yours is a mk1 then you are going have wiring problems(as i found out).how much is this guy charging you

You will need the loom, ecu etc etc.
