   had same pob with my current car mk2 2000 plate vtr but with turning left not certain if mk1 are same as mk2 2 be honest tho mate

   had this problem changed mine for a second hand one now its started doing it againg grr i think they arnt difrent aslong as you get your right one with fogs

   Mine does it too on turning right and left,i find if i hold the stalk so it hits it stop point it works fine.Also i read on here somewhere that spraying a bit of WD40 helps...
