vts lack of power

hey was just wondering if anyone elses vts seems to be rather sluggish between 2k-3k revs on way home today i was trying to keep it within these rev range when changing up gear seemed to take forever to get to 60. i was wondering if its ment to be like t his and that vts give more power from 4k revs onwards.

before i got a vts everyone was like woahh their deadly fast and itll scare yaa how fast they go but to me they dont seem to goo thatt fast well not mine. maybe just mee expecting too much. their doesnt seem to be much wrong with the engine its getting serviced soon lately just wondering if its normal for the vts to not be soo qucik betweenn 2k- 3k revs cheers.

if anyone could give us some hints n tips on which amount of revs is best to change at or between.

VTS likes to rev and doesn't start to come on cam til 4k, all the power is at the top of the rev band, power peaks at 6600rpm when it really is in it's stride. For peak power you want to be shifting at 7K to keep in that power band.

VTS's are high revving cars and the VTS engine is at it's most efficient at this rpm as this is where all the power is. Should be fine as long as you keep the car well maintained and not booting it all the time. Just build up to it gradually though.
