icv problem? (now with pictures)

    hi i put a vtr inlet mani on my furio, ive over come the few bits that where the initial problems.

    but from cold the car revs to about 2000rpm (this is only from cold) ive plumbed the pipe that comes off the icv back into the system yet it still does it


    ill get some pics up this evening of what ive done

    still havin trouble with this guys this is what ive done:





    its a bit of a mess but tryin things out to see if it works before cuttin pipe

    the cars revs its self to about 2000rpm from cold, once the cars warm it ticks over perfect, anyone got any ideas?

    how long is it at 2k for?

    until its warm then it runs perfect

    could be a problem with the coolant temp sensor.

    or a dodgey ICV.

    ive cleaned the icv loads mite check my wirein again but i think its all ok


    coolant temp sensor should be ok as ive only changed the inlet manifold

    sorry to keep askin questions,

    could this be down to the ecu? as the car has the vtr inlet, big cam and 4-2-1 mani so as its mostly air flow would the car think that its guna stall on normal idle?

    if it was going to stall it would do it what ever. hot or cold.

    ye? just tryin to think of things that could do it, ive messed about with my wirring just incase i got that wrong it all seems fine, taken the icv off again n cleaned it

    plumbed the icv pipe back into the system

    sorry to bring this up again guys and girls

    do we think its defo the ICV f*ckin about? if so

    does anyone know where the cheapest place to get it from is?
    euro car parts is about 30£
