A Few Different Problems (Pics follow)

    I've got a few different problems/queries with my saxo that i'd like to know;

    #1 Black Strip on Doors
    ;what is this black strip of plastic on the side of both of my doors, some of it is peeling away, i heard it's just a sun-protector or something, if i am to rip it off, will original paintwork be left underneath? I don't like the look of it.

    #2 Mould-type Substance in Lexus Lights
    ;why has this mould formed in the sides of the Lexus Lights? got them from a mate like this, anyway to remove it/clean them up?

    #3 Misty-ness in Lexus Lights (Condensation maybe?)
    ;for this, i'd like to know what's causing it to get misty and condensated, it bugs me because its not a clear light.

    #4 Rear-Wiper Bolt (Wiped broke/removed)
    ;for this, i'd like to know how simple is it to remove the bolt and put a grommet in the hole, i have a grommet from the boot under the carpet that i took from a mates saxo. Is Sealant used aswell?

    Cheers,
    Colin.

    The black strip on both doors is just vinyl use a hairdryer warm it up peel it off then wax the paint underneath(the paint will be fine)you can get new 1`s off ebay.Your rear lights is water getting in & having knowhere to escape from silicone sealant will fix this(you need a hole for the water to escape).

    For the black strip, you're saying warm it up, then peel it off.. what do you mean by wax it? what will wax do to the paint, also. you're telling me to put a hole in my light someone to remove the water? and put sealant all around the light and the hole i create?

    Cheers,

    I know people have their bad opinions on lexus lights, but i like them and want to go for the blue/white look eventually, and lexus work really well with it

    The lights are your choice buddy. Its your car! So do what you want to it.

    Ive seen that condensation on lights before it always seems to be aftermarket ones? Maybe the seals arent that good and letting moisture in?
