i have t reg 99 westcoast, ive bought a w reg 2000 16v engine. Ive confirmed with the seller its a single plug, but i believe its with the crossover loom? Is there any differences when plugging the 16v loom to my westy? and if so, what would have to be changed? thanks

#3will prob have the wrong engine loom - car loom connector
you'll have no prob selling that loom on here as they are pretty rare - get a single plug loom from a mk1 -
#4Update: the engine has arrived tonight, and by having a quick look it seems the same loom
single connector to the cars internal loom like my original, and ecu is an exact match. Think ive been lucky here

#5does the loom plug off the engine youv just bought fit into ur car loom?

#6ohhh.. and dont forget mate wen ur doin the conversion you'll need a fuel return goin to the tank

#10Sounds good to me

I love Reading new projects/ see people having a go - good luck with the conversion. That'd bit is done tbh, you've just got to plug it in now.
Any queries feel free to pop me a pm! -

#15I did mate, i had:
Engine (67k with receipts)
Gearbox
Loom
Unlocked ECU
421 Manifold
Enclosed induction kit, think its a simota not 100 percent tho. And with a green filter.
Radiator
Twin fan setup
Front Struts
Calipers and disks
Absoloutly everything for a conversion, and for a bargain price
