#3more then likely needs balancing, could be other things but more then likely needs to be balanced
-
#4Will just be due to being out of balance mate.
-
#5its still got the weights from first balance. just a right pain. cheers for quick replys. can anyone hazard a guess at cost of one wheel balance?
ps its on;y the one pass front side wheel -
#6should only cost a fiver or so.
-
#7if its still got the origional weights on, its probs miles out! as the high centre and such will be thrown all over the place! i bet it wangs like a bitch!
get them both balanced.
personally i wouldnt pay anymore than 10 quid for both to be done. -
#8what do u mean by high centre? was kinda hoping as its same tire going back on it would have been fine
-
#9how the tyre is made, it has a higher and lower point in it, which stops it rolling smoothly.Quote:what do u mean by high centre? was kinda hoping as its same tire going back on it would have been fine
so you need to balance the oppisite side, to level it out . . .
keeping the old weights on, would just make it worse.1 user thanked this post: -
#10ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i get ya yea can see why that wouldn;t help off to other tire place tommorrow.

#11tyre fitters usually mark the tyre with chalk so that they can put the tyre back in the same place on wheel, so doesnt kneed balancing. If the tyre is put back on any old how- the original weights can either help or make it worse- its all down to chance. Tonto above only described the worst case scenario
