heavy power steering

   my steering has gone really heavy after i had my gearbox changed could i have knocked something? or just need a new pump??

   check you haven't caught the connections to the pump or pump relay when you've taken the box out. have you tried tapping the pump with a hammer? maybe the brushes have just stuck if its been dislodged and just needs "encouraging" back to life!!!

   maybe its broken ... hahaa nahh maybe you have no power steering fluid? caught n split a pipe whilstt changing the gearbox? ... alternator belt snapt?
