    Need VT driveshafts too.

Wont slow it down much at all.

it wil slow down the acceleration as the ratios in the vts box r longer

Nice bump, and the VTS gearbox is like 0.8mph slower in each gear..

the vts gearbox is faster in each gear than a 1.1 box by quite a bit tae

I think gouldy is refering to the guides in the FAQ sections, they have a lot of information in them, including the gear ratios for each gearbox:

    http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=125615

the 1.0/1,1 gearbox is very similar to the vts box, obviously some ratios are slightly different, final drive is different and the diff size is different.

that thread u refered to is ttly wrong, i have a vts and my car defo is faster than 34 in first and 61 in second gaurenteed! and a 1.1 does no where near 61 in second! look on videos on youtube ul c fur ursel

soz a didnt realise that was depending on the rev limiter

You really don't understand, the 1.1 box has shorter ratios to aid the smaller engine accelerate through the gears, hence why people say it's nippy.

Please stop using text talk. If you can't be bothered to type properly you shouldn't type at all

a vts box in a 1.1 will make is slower.
but a 1.1 box in a vts will make it faster.
1.1 box = shorter gearing or somthink
    vts box= longer.

nout to do with the rpm. its to do with the ratios
