cammed or not?

Alright everyone, just a quick query, i bought a vts and got told it was just standard but since i've had it i've noticed that in 1st and 2nd it revs just over 7000 and in 3rd it revs just past 8000. When it's really cold it tries cutting out on me and sometimes it does and it's got a lumpy idol! Just wanted your opinions on what you think this could be because when people have been in it they have asked me if it is cammed or not!

    Cheers

havent you got any history with it?? if its lumpy it could be needing service!! my vts is cammed and remapped, not lump at all..........

it could have a wilder cam in it like a ph4/5 which would be lumpy even with a remap, easiest way to find out find a mate with a vts go to a private road somewhere and have a little race, or have it rolling road'd

Yeah lumpy doesn't mean its cammed.
Rolling road will be your best way of finding out.
Most RR garages should charge 30-50 quid.

Weird having a different rev limit in different gears though. I don't know how this could be achieved!

My ecu does cut back the rev limit when the ambient air temp is in the minus's. Not sure why this is but it is still the same in all gears.
