   ive got MOT this week so thought id do a few checks as you do. found that my rear torsion bar has alot of play in it i can really move the wheel and can hear a clicking sort of sound. i dont know anything about torsion bars would it be bushes or the ends or would it be easyer to fit a second hand torsion bar beam. if so how do you remove them has anyone got any links of info to remove them ive had a look about and cannot find any.

   sounds like its time for a new beam, easy enough to fit, drop exhaust off its rubbers, disconnect hand brake cable under car, undo a couple of brake pipes, undo 4 mounting bolts (nuts inside car,2 in boot area,2 under rear bench), remove beam, simples!!
