Had the EML light come on last week and had it diagnosed straight away.
These were the results;
CODE001. P0130 02 Sensor Circuit Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
CODE002. P0136 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
These are the results which are apparently the reasons for EML coming on today:
CODE001. P0711 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Circuit Range/Performance
CODE002. P1B00 [0, ff, 1b, 01, Please refer to relevant technical manual
Now this is where my problem's have started. Driving through town yesterday it started bogging. As i went to pull of, the engine produced no power and sounded like it was stopping itself stalling, it done this a few times. I left it for a bit, and on way home it wern't bad at all.
Went out on the night, and on way home EML started flashing, i was limited to 3k RPM and it stayed that way on the motorway. When i got off the motorway the engine sound changed, it started to feel like it was really struggling and there was a real lack of power. As well as this my car started sounding less and less like a Saxo and more like a Subaru with massive exhaust. This sympton alone made me think it was Coil related or plug related, as the power/sound symptons are very similar to other car's i have seen with Knackered coil packs.
However got in car this morning, started it, revved it and no flashing EML. No noise either, just like normal, with a solid EML on dash.
Anybody else ever had this problem, and is it likely to be Coil Pack/Spark Plugs?
Cutz
