Burning rubber smell

    Everytime I go 100mph + i getting a strong smell of burning rubber. Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?

    um is the engine temp normal. could be getting hot?

    how much is your car lowered by? and what size wheels and tyres u have?

    Everything is as normal, all guages are displaying normal temps. But like 5 seconds of over 100 mph and i get a burning rubber smell.

    Are your arch linings attatched securely?

    Ok car is lowered 35mm and has been lowered for some time. I dont have arch linings in the front and the rear are attached securely.

    O yeah its 15" wheels 7j and 195/45 tyres

    Try going A bit faster mate then u won't smell anything!

    ok i was going to suggest arch liners but obv not that. Nothings getting pushed against your exhaust or that?

    I couldn't see anything, i've checked the obvious stuff, like things catching on the wheels and also the exhaust. Just seems strange that it only occurs over that speed.

    Something to do with the clutch? That can smell similar to burning rubber.

    Well its doesn't smell like burning clutch. Its definatly burning rubber.

    Could it be anything to do with the heater? Funny smells geting pushed into the cabin
