the black tape on a vts door......

   hey bit out of the blue question..... on the vts theres black tape on the edge of the doors...to make the windows look like one black section on the side.... anyone know what kind of tape it is? looks like it has some type of metal inside. i only ask as i had t replace my passenger door(on my vts) but used a vtr spare door.... without the strip....i have to respray 1st so no major rush for reply. thanks saxp members
