basically im after pics of polished vts wheels on people's cars, i only managed to find 2 pics on here of them actually fitted to cars. From what i can gather then used to be fairly popular in here a few years ago?

cant decide wether to finish polishing mine or powdercoat them, the ones iv'e seen dont look that shiny when fitted to cars, thinking it might be because there's no camera flash on them? if they aren't blindingly reflective, i dont want them

    any pics wouldbe appreciated.

to get the right finish is extremly difficult mate you need the correct pads, polish, powder and lime with lots of elbo grease and keeping them that way is even harder. but they do look the dogs dangley bits.

thats the sort of finish im after, i went to a place today and they said they could polish the set to a mirror finish for a bit more than it would cost to have them powdercoated.

what did you use to keep them that way? polish and sealent? if so, how often did they need doing?

well that was a pic i nicked from another site but id recomend a polish and seal every weekend to keep them extra shiney. i think alot of people you had them including predator vtr used poorboys alloy sealer.

yeah i thought they'd need doing once a week when i washed the car. there only going to be summer wheels anyway so hopefully the weather wont be too harsh on them.

    loved that car

youd have to keep them spotless in summer and for winter have to be cleaned and stored

englands weather being as normal youd hardly have them on the car

yeah they will be alot of work, but soooooo shinyyyyy. Plus everyone has powdercoated wheels something a bit different is always good
