Important! : Relocating Oil Filter !

    Have i got all the parts i need to do this ?

    Yeah pretty much new studs and bolts and gasket for Mani not sure what the big bolts are required for tho then on the block there is an oil return that needs taping and blocking off too

    The big bolt are the mani to gearbox you only need one lol but mine never lined up so never put one in get have a look at my progress thread shows how i tapped the whole

    i did this to mine bout 2 weeks ago i didnt tap the block i used a plastic clip and some silicon works fine

    i just got the bolt from b&q mate

    i've fit a few and you'll find the gearbox bolt is a pain to line up i just left it on mine and my mates (DjDannyB) never had any issues

    What manifold are you fitting out of interest?

    Im guessing its the raceland with him re-locating the oil filter..

    Yeah its the Raceland one. Ricky-RPM's fitting it for me now ! cant do it while next thursday though

    If its the raceland one on a vtr then you'll need to replace the oil pressure sensor for the mk1 one aswel. The mk2 one sticks out too far and the wiring will melt on the manifold and cause a fault

    Fit the mk1 sensor which is short and stubby, the attachment onto it is female space connector type so cut off the existing plug and pop a spade connector on then you'll have no issues

    Where are the oil filters located on MK's? I have a MK2 but it could have a MK1 engine since its an early model.
