gear selector!!

   recently brought a saxo and my gear selector fell out, the garage fixed it in a matter of minutes just wonder if anyone knows or to reconnect so can self fix if happens again??

   Its like a ball and cup sort of joint. Look at back of engine bay under air filter and you will the linkage rods there. If it has popped of once it WILL do it again soon so best get a new set if you can
