Juddering/ Whistling noise

   The EM light came on in my VTR yesterday but the car was driving fine. Today i was driving for about 2minutes before the EM light flashed and the car started juddering, and pushing the throttle seemed to cause a sort of whistling noise (from the rear I think). It felt as if I had to keep the revs up to stop it stalling.
   
   I have read a few threads and the common ones seem to be plugs, fuel pumps and coilpack. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm rubbish with engines so need some help please!

   Well any whistling noise from a car is normally associated with a vac leak,but seeing as you say its coming from the back,cant really say.

   Vacuum pipe leak, although the EM light could be anything, check obvious things like oil etc first, then try replacing lambda's, spark plugs and go from there.
