MY VTR Drinks Petrol Like no tommorow what could it be?

   No stupid replies cos i know there not the most economic cars and i dont drive like a pratt i put £15.00 in yesterday, drove to my mates bout 20 mins drove to school and back and lights on, seriously?

   That should get you about 90 miles check for leaks has car been serviced recently? Change oil and smell it for fuel

   sparco tom .... Wot would it mean if your oil smells of fuel cus mine smells abi t of fuel in oil. any help would be good. Cus my vtr drinks petrol like mad.

    Piston ring gone, cylinder walls washed or damaged. Damage to valve seals (serious damage) causing the mixture to be forced up into the head

    basically i probably drove about 45 50 miles topss and the lights on im taking it to a garage tomorow to get it lookeed at

    There's quite a lot of VTRs on here that drink fuel like mad. I get high 30s mpg on my daily commute, over 50 on a run, I've had it down below 20 once and that was with a session at Crail!
