bonnet help! Its come off! standard bolt size?

   My mrs bought a vtr and it has stupid bonnet raisers on it. Just took them off and realised the bolts are way too long. What is the standard size of the bolts on the bonnet because i want to put it back to normal. Thanks you all alot

   Cut down the bolts with junior hacksaw or similar if possible. You will need a clean cut or put a nut on the bolt first then undo the nut after cutting to clean the thread up a bit. If this is no good I would imagine they are standard 8mm bolts - can anyone confirm?

   Just had a quick search for you they are 10mm bolts, go down to your local scrappy. Will cost you £1 if that, scrapyard near me let me have them for free.

   They're just M10 washer bolts. Like most standard bodywork bolts on a saxo. Citroen should be able to sell you them.
