Hey guys, in the middle of wiring in an alarm myself, but have become a bit comfused as to where to wire in the 'up' and 'down' and 'main line' wires and stuff for the alarm to operate the door locks. it is currently wired in to both sides (both doors up and down) but this isnt working - the alarm is not locking the doors. i wondered if it had to be wired into the relay or just one door or something?? cheers josh

#2Sure you havent got to wire it to the central locking ecu.Quote:Hey guys, in the middle of wiring in an alarm myself, but have become a bit comfused as to where to wire in the 'up' and 'down' and 'main line' wires and stuff for the alarm to operate the door locks. it is currently wired in to both sides (both doors up and down) but this isnt working - the alarm is not locking the doors. i wondered if it had to be wired into the relay or just one door or something?? cheers josh

#3From what I remember the central locking control module is located behind the fuse panel in the passenger side. If you remove the cover and look up above where the fuses are you will see a brown connector with 9 wires going into it (9 way connector). This the for the central locking I believe. I think it's a purple & grey wire which is the Lock/Unlock not 100% on that though.
What alarm you got?
