is this suppose to be done at 70,000?
and whats an estimated price

I'd get it done at 60k and every 6 years personally (roughly 10k and 1 year before they are due)
Citroen recommend they are changed roughly half the above time if the journeys are short.

cheers raunchz, to be fair saxos are one of the easiest cambelts to replace hence the price, its when you get into more exotic stuff it gets expensive

16v cambelt kits from citroen are just over £100.

16V £130, always budget for water pump replacement at the same time, false economy not to replace it whilst covers and belt are off

thats using Gates kit again,not gen-Citroen, but excellent quality
