Im so close to clicking "buy it now" on ebay.

Only query i have really is spraying it? Would it have a good effect with a spray can? (gloss black)

Or do i just go to a body shop and get it sprayed there and pay 10x more...

Its a gloss black bonnet on a Amazon green Sax

    (see progress thread)

    Cheers Guys and Girls

It is very hard to get a ok finish with endless sanding and buffing required. Its next to impossible to get the same quality of finish even after all that. Even then the quality of spray can paint it self is not in the same world as quality body shop paint. It flakes, chips, cracks, discolours and just generally is damaged far easier than quality paint. Its like most things in life, you get what you pay for.

Tbf it is a pretty wavy finish on the bonnet from CCF anyway so if you're confident you can do a half decent job of it then go for it

I was surprised at just how light they are as well - lighter than my old wet lay carbon fibre bonnet

Could look good if you co-ordinate the black with other details on your car like wheels for example
