will this cat fit?

   I have a 51 plate saxo vtr which was first registered in december 2001. I need a new catalytic converter for it.

   will that 1 fit, will it still pass mot even tho its not approved?

   not true.
   
   doesnt matter weather vtr or not, the cat is either under the car or on the manifold.
   
   the link has a mk1 (pre2001) cat which is under the car. not sure if you have the change over year saxo, but yours is likely to be on the manifold. have a look under the car to see if that pipe in the link is under your car. Should be about level with your front wheels if your unsure where it is.

   Photo of your engine would be nice pal, is the exhaust manifold bulky? with like a lacey metal design on it?? Not all MK2's have a manicat, mines a 00 Mk2 and ive got a MK1 engine....
