Idle funny when engine is warm

   Hi have mk1 vtr and is fine when engine first starts but when its been running and is warmed up it keeps wanting to cut out when coming to a stop and even when running on straight road in 5th gear hope its just icv but fearing the worst any ideas much appreciated
