Been phoning around scrappies trying to get a hold of one.. None for a 01 plate vtr
What others will fit it ? Saxo vts ' 1.1's etc ?

I think 1.1 (maybe 1.4 also) use a V belt and 1.6 8v use a ribbed belt. Should all mount the same though on the 8v engines. Not sure on the output, but from memory cars without power steering have low output which is no good for your car which has PAS.

You should be able to get the part number from eurocar like was said, and then search for a second hand one.
I thought I needed one myself, but after having a poke around I've discovered the power wire has come loose. Does anyone know how these are connected on a 1.5d? Are they a 'push in' style connection or is a ring connector like the earth cable?

VW polo! take yours out and take it to a scrap yard to double check year.. i spent all day lookin for a saxo one.. then decided to match it with others and found the vw one
