M10 Bolt For Oil Filter Reloaction ?

    after a lot of searching i still really couldnt find out what they looked like properly and which one i needed . . .

    so i got these from my local hardware store .



    will they do the job ?

    remember, the block has to be tapped out, if you tap them out to a M10 bolt size, they will fit, but personally - id hacksaw them down a little say 6 splines.

    Alternatively i would have chosen hex-head m10 bolts as they are easier to get into the engine bay with the spanner and you can put more strength on them But thats personal pref.

    Edit; actually they look quite small, so they might be fine without hacksawing some off

    yerh there small i think 25mm they were smallest i could find ! and ok il go and get a Hex one if thats going to be better

    i think they'll be spot on!! No real need to cut them down I dont think

    Go with some threadlock and they should be fine !
