#2i have done my own cold air feed m8 i got some 55mm ducting and 60mm ducting and joined them then i put the one end of the ducting next to the air filter and i put a speaker port on the other end and put it in my grill and that made hell off a difference i just cut the hole in my de-badged grill and tbh it looks nice as well

#3sorry bout state of engine needs clean lol
-
#4it looks tacky though, just get a enclosed filter, get a raceland one if your on a budget buddy.
-
#5morette headlight or attatch it to where the original scoop goes on the slam panel.
If you can drill a nice hole in the slam panel to run it straight behind the grille -
#6here's how did mine it a 102mm hose lol
-
#7morrette cold air feed with piperx viper
-
#8ahhh, i see, i thought i was doing something wrong, iv got mine connected to my original scoop, but i dont think it works that well because of the size of the hole, i was thinking of putting it other places but didnt know where because everything seems covered, but now i know can drill into it it makes sense
thanks a lot for the help guys xx

#9Yea mate that looks pretty decent looks suprisingly nice with the black and chrome/silver ring. But yea i recommend an enclosed induction kit mate, its perfect,
- And the best place for cold air feeds really do vary for every car depending on the air pressure points on the car and where the best flow of cold air circulates -
#10I seriously doubt it made "A Hell of a difference".Quote:i have done my own cold air feed m8 i got some 55mm ducting and 60mm ducting and joined them then i put the one end of the ducting next to the air filter and i put a speaker port on the other end and put it in my grill and that made hell off a difference i just cut the hole in my de-badged grill and tbh it looks nice as well

#16that filter needs a cleaning and then re oiling (should not be black it should be a red colour no filter oil on filter this will let dirt into the engine it is only the filter oil that stops dirt going into engine)also the cold air feed wont make a difference because of heat soak and being a cone filter1 user thanked this post:
