as above, i fitted a new gearbox today and when i started it up and tried to put it into gear there was a high pitch whinning when the clutch pedal was pushed down and it wouldnt select gear?
thrust bearing?

back to the gearbox though, you sure you put it on correct? is gearbox 100% ok? -

#6pull clutch arm back, then the bearing will 'clip' onto it. stick a tiny bit grease on the little clips to help hold it in place,

#7on the back of the bearing it 2 tiny fragile plastic clips. You need to slide the bearing down the input shaft, move the fork arm so the 2 prongs point out from the box and try to locate the bearing onto the prongs. Slowly push it back into the box making sure its attached
