Automatic Query

   Hi, I've just purchased a 1.6 saxo sx automatic....the accelorator pedal seems to be set back quite far from the brake pedal....is this normal? My last car (a Clio) both pedals were flush with each other? Also the brake pedal has a rubber cover and the accelorator pedal has none...has it come off or is this how they come as standard??

   Try adjusting throttle cable under bonnet, just take up the slack by unclipping the clip, adjusting then putting clip back on-leave 1-2mm slack though. If that does not work and you are still bothered about it bend the pedal to your liking (within reason though lol).
   
   I have a rubber on my throttle pedal but I have seen plenty without as well.

   Thanks for the tips...I'll look into it, just feels weird driving it this way.
