Need light shed! Long read....

   Right had my vtr for around a year now, and when I first bought it came with what i thought was a front passenger side suspension knocking noise, However since I bought it I have replaced a few bits invloved with the suspension and it hasnt worked.
   
   heres a list:
   droplinks
   top mount bearing
   ball joint
   driveshaft
   wheel bearing
   
   The car now handles and drives like an absolute minter but still this knocking has turned into a clunking and is gradually getting heavier and feels likes something is heavily slipping everytime I turn half the wheel left or right at the passengers side. Something is definatly moving.
   
   Also I dunno whether this has any bearing but, I'll be driving and then turn the wheel for a corner or something, and then after that its like my wheels have just unbalanced and I have to drive with the steering wheel a quarter to the left to go straight, and then I'll turn again and it will knock again, and I'll be driving with the steering straight and true, doesn't always happen though.
   
   My pal said it could be a gearbox mount and the knocking could be the gearbox actually moving.....
   
   Sorry about the long read but I really need someone to shed any light on this ongoing problem and any help would be much appreciated.

   Sounds like a track rod end and arm issue

   so track rod end/wishbone area? any way I could definatly find out?

   check the boot on the track rod end. Then check for any play in the arm and rod.

   mine has a knocking to turns out the exhaust is touching the gearbox mount

   I don't think its that mate, something quite serious I think, I need someone to look at it who specialises in this sort of thing because every other mechanic has just said "They don't know" which is useless to me, as soon as I find out what it I can get it sorted as soon as.

   there is nothing more annoying to me than a mechanic that gives up and says i dont know.
   It is there job to find the problem and solve it

    Also don't trust mechanic's round here, proper bodges in the experiences I've have had
    
    probably just charge me to look at it and then come back with no feedback

    I do everything myself, but nobody i know pays for something to be investigated
