hand brake!!

   hi, have had a look around but cant find much on hand brakes!!
   
   fitting a new rear caliper to my vts and need to take the handbrake cord out!!
   
   anyone know how to do this or have a thread that can help me!!

   Remove the heat shield, slacked off the cables. Then just pull it out from the caliper

   k but the cable has like a nipple on the end and it dont fit through the little gap on the capiler, so i think i need to remove the entire cable to get the other end through?????

   sorry didnt make it clear enough.
   Grips
   Pull it away from the car
   then where the cable slims down unhook it from the caliper

   yeah done that mate lol once u unhook it, it the has to go thought a little hole to removee it total from the caliper but the nipple at the end wont fit through the hole lol. so does the other end of the cable have a nipple on it??

   try using a hammer and punch to tap outer cable from mounting bracket on caliper
