Hey guys just tryin to fix a few little problems with the 2000 vtr. My door on the passenger side has dropped about an inch or so, it shuts with a slam but seems to be getting worse.. . Any ideas how i can sort this out myself.. nothing looks bent so cant see anything obvious Thanks

Any ideas? I read some previous posts and one says they had to have door re welded.. surely not? Has anyone had a similar issue?

are you sure one of the hinge pins hasn't snapped? door misalignment like that is pretty bad news for a saxo, yes the hinges are welded to the pillr, there are brutal ways of adjusting them slightly but don't think it'd work with yours lol. has it been kerbed heavily or bumped?

not been kerbed or bumped.. just seemed to have got worse over time. Cant see any damage to the inside of the door but will have a proper look at the hinges tomorrow when its not dark. wiill keep informed.. so annoying - problem after problem with saxo's eh lol, shame i love em too much haha

my mates had the same problem, think we replaced or tightend up the pins and it worked.

Hey guys, I've had a look at the door and all hinges/ clips luk fine. Took some photos.. Im a bit worries about undoing the bolts incase it just falls off lol. From looking at the pic do u think I'l need to take it to a garage to get it properly done or still think i can take off and tighten up myself? cheers

Imo looks like the top hinge has been rewelded badly, hence putting it out of line.
