rattling comeing from rear of car

   Hi there
   
   I have a MK2 51 plate vtr how ever i have ratteling comeing from the rear i think it is the taution bar but has any one got any ideas i mainley does it along shity roads with little dinks in it (so all roads bassically on a flat new road no trouble at all )

   best thing to do is to check the taution bars and rear beam but i had this and the cause was my spoiler wobbleing about, if it aint any of thm try reg plate and obvious things like that spesh the boot plastic mine rattled like hell lol

   Exhaust maybe? check hangers and brackets

   As well as the above, make sure that your spare wheel bracket is'nt loose. When they are they can bounce about creating a hell of a racket.

   has it been de-wipered? I ask as mine started rattling and it was because the wires from the wiper motor were flapping about hitting the boot and trim.

   mine used to rattle in reverse..does it do that?

   na it is the arb plates and i am doing them now cheers guys

    regarding you pm it is cheaper to buy a second hand arb and plates

    could also be bootlid rattling on the lock- mines doing it now and is annoying,
