Car sounds like a Hoover

   As in the above when I start my car it sounds like a Hoover sucking till I rev it any ideas any one cheers.

   Difficult to say without a video or something but it sounds like an air leak
   Check all the hoses to your inlet manifold, if you can see anything listern to hear if the noise changes when you move them.
   Also we've had the injector seals cause that problem on a 206, so worth checking

   There is like a black round disc ontop of the Mani with I pipe coming off it ithink it's some thing to do with that

   maybe turn the hoover off and then start the car ?
   
   In all seriousness, if the car runs fine, then probably nothing to worry about. With the car running I'd check that there were no inlet leaks

   yeah perhaps nothign to worry about.. if it reduces performance and u still havent taken it to see a mechanic or a frend that knows there stuff then maybe u shuld
