Query about Angel Eyes

  1. #1
What is the cheapest site to get angel eyes for my Saxo MK2, I can only find ones for 110... Think i could find cheaper?
  2. #2
eBay second hand is your best bet or the for sale section here

Never mind just bought a pair of stunning angel eye head lights! Cant wait for them to arrive now.

Is it generally felt that angel eyes or smoked headlights look better, especially on a wicked red mk2 VTR? I appreciate opinions are subjective, but just wondering on what the majority think.

Where did you get your new angel eyes from, Jamestvaughan?

i got mine from Ebay brand new (135 including p+p) and i think they look much better on MK2's than the standards, but like you said, its different people with different opinions

well mine are in the post at the moment, so i should get them within the next 4-5 days... Could you just change the number on the right hand side of the wheel which goes from like 0 to 4? i thought that adjusts the lights? And most importantly, do they look good?

They do look good . That up/down rolling switch wont work with no motors installed mate. but if the motor can change the beam height then there must be a manual way to do so.

Just waiting for someone to spill the beans!

angels can only be adjusted manually. they dont have motors for you to connect up

Theres two screws on the backs of the lights that raise/lower and move the beam left/right depending on which way you turn them

Its not preference, its for safety-my angels atm shines literally a few metres infront of me so ill need to get them adjusted this weekend.

Ahh right okay, i see! but are they straight forward to fit? like is it just take out and put in where the old wires were, or is there alot more work to be done?

Its my turn to do lifts tomorrow night as me and all the boys are going out but i cant drink because i got to drive everyone... so it'll be dark and im gunna need my headlights done!! lol ... i'll have a big browse tomorrow morning for you John, im sure i can find something
  26. #26
i have some angle eye head lights with the screws and there easy to find so clearly yours are different. looked at the picture posted and a couple on ebay of your type of light and my best guess is that the main beam is possibly fixed in preset position, and the round bit with the thread in the middle is your projector ajustment as it has a hex end for a spanner. the ring around the thread might twist giving some ajustment don't know about the silver thing in the bottom corner.

i would advise parking a set distance away from a wall/garage door before starting ajustment so you can see where they point now by marking the wall and you'll also see what direction ther moving when ajusting. go for a drive to see if there any better if you mark the wall after each drive then when it gets to the point your happy then all's good but if on comming cars flash you can just take it back to the previous setting you did using the mark you made.

    hope it works

Right- ive plated around with the stupid silver circle things... they just seem to go around and around and do nothing! hmm... oh well, when we find out, it'll make this waiting all worth while! This has turned out to be a pretty useful post!

That circle thing with thread in the middle isnt for the dipped beams, its high beam related.
The domed shape capsule thing on the right is where the projectors are.
