window tint!

  1. #1
ive just baught myself some window tint film off of ebay. i got 1mx3m for £6.50! i figured il save a bomb by getting it myself rather than paying a place to do it.
now ive got it, im completely confused.
firstly, how do you take your rear side windows out? i have a pug 106 xn, and it has the same windows as a saxo as far as i can tell.
and secondly how does the tint stay down? i thought it would be sticky on one side, but its not, its just a layer of film.
if anyone has any tips/ siggestions for me that would be much appreciated.

    thanks,
    Reece

When people attempt tinting themselves (for the first time), it never goes according to plan and the time/money they waste, they then wish they'd have gone somewhere to have them done professionally. Hehe!

tbh if you cant work out how to get it to stick to the window then i wouldnt even attempt it.
im not saying im perfect but i can work my way around fixing a car well and even i would not attempt to tint my own windows

In response to your original question, there are 3 torx bits on the inside of the rear side windows, undo them.

get some one to do it for you because you dont sound like you have a clue lol

i tinted my saxo myself, if you look at the tint closely enough there is a side that peels of and then your left with a sticky side to your tint film, use soapy water and apply the tint, push out the water from the center outwards and it will stick to you window.

doing the rear quarters is easy, its the back that's the problem!
