is this correct as i thort mk1 mk2 saxo were the same shell ?????????
Dear littlemammy09,
hi michelle, the difference is the subframe on the mk2 seats dont have runners and just fit straight to the floor on brackets and are higher than the mk1 saxo seats are, in a mk1 saxo which i have got is you need runners for the side of the car and one to the floor, also the rear seats dont fix to the side of the saxo with threaded nuts and brackets the mk2 ones have just a piece of metal that slots into the plastic on the mk2 saxo's whichj is a big difference but not entirely hard to fit into a mk1 saxo if fiddled around with a bit.
i will upload some more photos of the subframe and the rear seat fitments now for you to have a look at.
thanks for contactig me,
many regards
steve.
