Temperature gauge dead!

    Hi, my temperature gauge does not move no matter how long ive driven it..any ideas?

    The thermostat housing is situated at the front of the engine right handside just under the rocker cover it has an allen key hole on top and a rubber coolant hose coming from the front.

    doubt you will be able to tell if its faulty from looking at it? it may of just come loose and may need clippin back on, mine went on my car but did the opposite to yours and made mine read 100 degress constantly from start lol

    Take it out clean it put it back in disconnect battery leave for 10 mins put it back on, start the car mine worked after this.

    i think its 2 or 3 pin green sensor on the engine..next to a blue one..? just slip a screwdriver in n it shuld flick a metal clip n release the pin, change tht over n it shuld solve the problem...do u no if the clocks have been changed since the car was nwe?

    nope hasnt been changed

    Its got two wires, shouldnt it be 3 wires? looks like someones just ripped it off?

    can someone tell me if that greeny/bluey plug with the green and brown wire coming out is the sensor? should i undo the bolt holding that bluey/green plug and give the it a clean?
