exhaust bore

   high there,
   
   can anyone tell me if running a 2.0 inch bore (decat) straight through exhaust will stall at idle, had a custom exhaust made, and the silly people made it in 2.25.... having no end of trouble with it at the lights... just wonder whether im better off going back to the factory 1.75 ... as i am after a bit of a perfomace increase after all .... just wanted to know as im having it resized next week....

   2" is the prime bore size for a vtr/s, all the superprint exhausts/pugsport/saxsport come with a 2" centre pipe with a de-cat and no silencer, but i dont see why a 2.25" would make you car stall you sure thats the problem?

   check your idle control valve mate, it could be dirty

   sounds more like an inlet issue. Check the idle control valve give it a clean. Clean the map sensor
