transmech clutch kit

   just been on euro car parts for a clutch kit, they have a transmech clutch kit for £43 , are they any good, or just cheap cra,

   don't do it mate , get the sachs one only 20 more and its ad decent bit of kit, or if you can get the valeo

   yeah i bought mine from euro car parts with trade discount, clutch is sound and feels good but the clutch release bearing is shot after a matter of miles lol

   Also heard of the clutch disc shattering after a day.

   its ok for normal driving. How do you drive? If you like to accelerate hard from a standstill then its probably not for you.

    yer it is,
    that clutch did get driven fairly hard, not as hard as the one which lasted less than 700 miles

    iv just fitted one of these to my 1.1
    
    getting a a horrible grinding sound whenever its pressed now what would you sugest it is?
    
    fucking pissed off looks like il have to strip it all down again now to replace it
